About Makers & Goods

Makers & Goods is a celebration of the Makers, the creators, the conscious brands, the mom and pops, and the hard-working hands, that make and create products that deserve to be admired, shared, enjoyed, and loved.

Founded in 2013 by Julie Skon in Santa Barbara, California, Makers & Goods began as a creative gifting business designed to fill the high demand of gifting requests for local events. Passionate about small businesses and people and brands that create positive impact with their goods, Julie focused on utilizing products from local farmers, artists, chefs, and small businesses and brands to make the event gifting special and impactful.

Today, Makers & Goods has expanded to be able to provide full service gifting for events all over the United States. We personally deliver in Santa Barbara, Ojai, Santa Ynez, and Los Angeles (and we ship nationwide). We are so happy to say that we continue to source from local Makers and conscious global brands. We aim to create as many layers of social good as possible in each gift while selecting goods that are unique to the style of your event, on brand, feature local elements, and are impactful to gift and delightful to receive.
